We are enjoying all the reports from other mustang trainers. My husband Nolan is the trainer of "Smokey" a three year old mustang. Nolan (Doc) has no time to blog, so I will try to blog for him. We live at Salado and are both retired educators. Horses are Doc's passion - We picked up Smokey at Paul's Valley on June12th, and he seems to be very smart with a sweet disposition. Doc is riding him in the round pen, but hopes to take him outside this next week. We have been fighting the sweltering heat here in Central Texas, as some of the rest of you have I see. It really takes it toll on horse and rider.

I am posting some pictures of Smokey - He is really pretty - Black with White on face and one white sock. The grandkids love to pet him and he loves the attention.
