Kirstin's mom here.
Hi everyone. First of all thank you so much for including Kirstin in your thoughts and prayers. Secondly, thank you for fostering these Mustangs. I am sure that all of you, just like Kirstin, have developed an unbelievable bond with your horses. At first, I must admit, that the scholarship was a strong reason for Kirstin participating, but as she continues something much bigger and better has come from this experience and the scholarship no longer even matters. As her parents, we have always recognized Kirstin's special gift with horses, but never did we expect to see her devote so much time to them(without us nagging her). When most kids are loungeing their summer away, she has spent hers training 3 Mustangs. It's a heartwrenching moment when a parent realizes that their baby is growing up. As I watched her last night, I couldn't help but think that we did something so right and so positive for her and that this will be an everlasting memory. As all you make the final preparations for the competition, remember that although you might hit a speed bump or two, in the end what you all have done; in a very short amount of time, is quiet simply put-AMAZING! I am so impressed by all of you and your willingness to share tips and suggestions, just proves that you are here for these horses also. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see all of you here in Texas. Thanks again, Priscilla
