Morning everyone. What amazing stories, J-Dub already on their backs, wow! Robbie Mustangs are incredible horses and the untouched aspect really helps in the training, doesn't it. You don't have to undo anything-you have a clean slate to work with. Element looks a lot like Kirstin's mustang TAZ that we adopted at last year's makeover. He's beautiful. Hey Lauren, Robert & girls. Looks like things are going great for ya'll. You have your hands full this summer. When I watch Kirstin & Tuff, it's hard to believe that she's only had him for a couple of days and that he is a Mustang. So much of what she has experienced in the past hasn't happened-he loves to be touched, Kirstin walks right up to him, brushes him, has him changing directions in the round pen like he's been doing that all of his short life, & has even very briefly picked up one of his hooves. She's almost at a loss for what to do, she always had to start training with desensitizing and gradually working up to what she is doing right now. She is really enjoying Tuff, he has a great personality and is so smart and willing to please.
