Obstacle course
When I got home from work yesterday, Kirstin told me that she set up an obstacle course to work Tuff on. So I go outside and find that Kirstin has set up some of the fence post that her dad has to make an "L" shape, and what I call a crow's foot to walk & back Tuff through. Here she is backing Tuff through the L shape and then...
pivoting thru the opening. He would swing his hip a little bit too far,but considering this was his first day doing this, I think he did pretty well. Kirstin took him through this 5 or 6 times. By the time she was done, when she got to the end and turned around, Tuff would automatically start backing without any cueing. He is really a very smart little guy, he is going to make a great riding horse someday.
