Kirstin had a crowd of about 11 people watching her train last night. It was the first time that Tuff has ever been around that many people and he loved the attention he was getting. He behaved as always like a perfect gentleman letting everyone pet and scratch him and then Kirstin trained him while everyone watched. Here she was letting him run circles around her. This is the first time that she tried this, it is so much easier than walking the circle with him.

Kirstin's nephew was visiting last night. He's 14 months old and absolutely loves horses. He sees a horse and points at it and says Kiki which is what he calls his Aunt Kirstin. He has sat on Tuff before but Kirstin has never walked Tuff around while he was on his back. Tuff didn't even mind Daniel being on his back. Pretty good indication as to how Tuff is going to react when it's time to saddle him. Daniel weighs about 25 lbs, so he is close to the weight of a saddle. Daniel is our little cowboy in the making. Kirstin & Tuff has the trot at a lead down pretty good now. Tuff will start to trot almost immediately and stops really well. Backing is coming along nicely as well. He still is a little slow to respond, but he is getting better.
