Here we go again. Year number 3 for Kirstin and the youth makeover. We made the long haul to Piney Woods, Mississippi this past weekend to pick up her new yearling. We were extremely lucky, Kirstin's mustang Patriot appears to be a relatively calm horse. He didn't pitch a fit in the chute when the handlers put his halter on, he calmly walked out of the chute straight into the trailer. Remained calm the entire trip home, even ate and drank at every stop we made. Patriot did manage to rub his halter off the very next day, but Kirstin was able to rehalter him that evening after working with him for a little while.
