Kirstin took Patriot on his second outing and that was to a horse show. He did amazing. This little guy just never ceases to amaze us. Kirstin entered 3 classes, halter, color/solids and showmanship. She ended up with 3rd in the halter class and 7th in the showmanship class. Patriot behaved better than a lot of the seasoned show horses. He never once lost his cool even when those big horses kept backing into him because they couldn't stand still.

The judge thought that Patriot was the cutest horse that she has ever seen. She especially loved his ears. It was an exciting weekend for both Kirstin and Patriot. She learned that she has a wonderfully behaved horse, he was perfect the entire time there. She also learned that there are a couple of things still to perfect; the trot at a lead-he just didn't want to trot and sidepassing.
