This morning I finally managed to clean out Nine's front feet. He is doing very very well, I think he's ready for a trim! Now if only I could come up with the money to get a farrier out here... Hehe. Maybe I'll ask our farrier if he will donate the trim? Hmmm, there's a thought.

It has been rainy here lately, which is always good, but it has been setting us back a bit. Naturally, every time I tried to reach for the cinch when I tried saddling Nine, thunder struck and spooked the horses. But it has really given me the incentive to get to work on those feet, because now it's rather muddy! Well, as I said this morning I got the fronts cleaned out, and they needed it!
