That's excellent that Reno didn't blow up at all! Good job, you're obviously doing something right.

I still haven't managed to get on Nine; in fact I haven't even tried to saddle him up again in a few days. I have been working with his feet, since I only have a few minutes at a time lately. But now he picks up both front feet really well, and I got the hardest part of the back feet over with today, and he picks them up with a rope around his pastern. That was definitely the hard part, because now I have the nerve to go on! I think we'll be fine. We're only about 2/3 of the way time-wise, so I still have some time to get riding. I don't need to panic just yet!
