Hi everyone,

I'm Shelby the mustang, filling in for my crippled owner, dena. She's currently hobbling around the house with crutches and a bad attitude, so she didn't come feed me tonight. JD is here instead and he tells me she will be all right soon. In the meantime, she keeps trying to get me used to this new-fangled walker that she thinks she'll use in the round pen to longe me. I got news for her-ain't gonna be easy! I have fun trying to pull her off her 'feet' and sometimes I get real close up to her when she's sitting in her chair and stand next to her to make her nervous. She doesn't know that I'm really trying to lay down next to her, but I'm working hard and going real slow to let her know it's all right. Just for kicks, I side pass sometimes in front of her. She thinks she taught me how to do it, but it comes naturally and for some reason she gets all excited when I do it. I like to make her feel good once in a while. 

It's nice to hear everyone's stories and progress, it helps me catch up with my friends and makes me happy to know they are with such good people. Well, here comes JD with my food, so I'll sign off now. See you next month! (Maybe dena's ugly black boot will be gone by then.)
