Thank you for the well-wishes! My elbow seems to have recovered - I even mucked out Nine's pen as well as another pen that currently houses my personal Mustang, Hammar. That was about... 7 wheelbarrow loads, and my elbow barely gave me any trouble!

I had an idea this morning as I was mucking. I thought that it would be a good experience to take Nine to the county fair at the end of the month! But when I looked up the fair book I read that the deadline for entry was August first. Bummer. I tried to call the horse superintendent to see if an exception can't be made - I don't want ribbons, I just want Nine to have the experience - but I think she was out to lunch! So I will try again in a bit. But what do you all think? I nice halter class would be such a good indicator of how Nine might do in Fort Worth, wouldn't it? Plus, we would get experience trailering!
