Wow.. lots of people are riding so quickly! Great for you guys.

I think the BLM feeds Alfalfa hay so that might be the reason you guys can't get them to eat coastal hay. I know with Bue & Cora I had to feed Alfalfa or Orchard grass mix hay at first and then put their grain actually on top of the hay.. they get it after a few days, usually.

I know Cora had really bad teeth problems and wouldn't eat real well until we got her teeth done.
