Well today was the first day for me to work with my horse! He is great! I couldn't have ask for a prettier or more well built horse. I'm very excited to be in the competition and am looking foward to talking to other trainers in the area. We made a lot of progress for the first day (at least I think so) After about half a day in the round pen he will now turn and face when I say whoa and has started following me. He is still warry about coming all the way to me. He is following just two or three steps behind, so all in all I think for the first day things went pretty well. I have named him after my dad who has been my biggest influence with all my horses. So his name is Kizer. He always helped me with anything involving any of my horses and so I think this will be my way of showing him I really did read the books he pushed so hard and listened to all those seminars! Lol I will try to post some new pictures later on in the week
