This is not a trick that Kirstin has taught Tuff, but he did this anyway. She was outside of the round pen and decided to see how Tuff would behave if she tried picking up his hoof and picking it out. Tuff spotted a blade of grass and wanted it so I guess he thought it would be easier just to get on both of his knees to get it. He stayed there the entire time that Kirstin picked that hoof. She stood up to move to the other side & he got up also. I think it says a lot for the amount of trust he has with her otherwise I don't think he would have put himself in such a vulnerable position.
Finally both front & hind ends get on the bridge together. It is so funny to watch these guys when they realize that they did something right. They are so eager to do it again. Tuff also spent some quality time in the trailer. Kirstin tied him up inside of the trailer for about 20 minutes last night, tonight she will increase the time and even add another horse with him to get him used to riding with other horses.
