As part of Kirstin job as an American Mustang Representative II, she has to put on a demostration. She wanted to do this with her yearling so we scheduled it this past weekend. Kirstin did a short narrative on Mustangs, their plight, how she trains them, etc. and then she took to the arena to show the people attending what she has accomplished in the past few months with Patriot. She did a portion of the routine that she has just in case she makes the finals and Patriot was awesome.

She also did a reining pattern using a mustang that we adopted last year at the makeover. This is Kryptonite. He also is awesome as is all of our Mustangs.

Here Kirstin is explaining the freezebrand to the crowd.

After all of the performance, parts of the crowd came out to take a close look at Patriot, he loved all of the attention that he received. It was a really nice day, we had people from the local Military base in attendance, some volunteer firefighters and a youth 4-H horse club. We served about 40 hamburger and 48 hotdogs, had Kirstin's brother's band; The RyKo Wison Band providing entertainment. We had a couple of other Mustangs there as well and after the demo was over, whoever wanted to ride, got to ride around the arena. The biggest comment I heard was "That's a Mustang!!!" Great Day!!!
